WASHINGTON: An Afghan man has been accused in Texas for threatening to manufacture a bomb and carry out a suicide bombing. This comes amid the Trump administration’s crackdown on Afghan immigration following a fatal shooting.

The threats were allegedly made by Mohammad Dawood Alokozay, 30, of Fort Worth, in a video posted on TikTok, X, and Facebook on November 23, according to the Justice Department.

In the video, Alokozay appears to glorify the Taliban and threatens to carry out a suicide assault on Americans.

“Thanks to public reports of a threatening online video, the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force apprehended this individual before he could commit an act of violence,” FBI Dallas special agent in charge Joseph Rothrock stated.
